Our principal trainer is Dr Bianca Finger-Berry who has many years of experience in supporting school communities in relation to bereavement, trauma, self-harm and suicide prevention as well as other mental health issues. She also delivers a number of training courses as part of her work in her local authority.

Her background is in social pedgagogy, an approach which considers education in the widest sense; a holistic approach to learning, wellbeing and happiness, empowerment and relationships.

She qualified in Germany in 1996 and then worked as a social worker in West Sussex before moving to Norfolk in 2001 where she still works within the educational psychology service.

Bianca completed her Doctorate in Education in 2015, her Masters in Advanced Social Work in 2018 and Diploma in Trauma and Mental Health Informed Schools and Communities in 2019.

Bianca also holds a Certificate in Counselling Skills and trained as an EMDR therapist in 2017.

BIanca is a registered social worker with Social Work England, a member of BASW and the UK EMDR Association.
